                              RESOLUTION NO. 21514
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
                 AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, DIVISION
                 OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT, RELATIVE TO THE
                 CLOSURE/POST CLOSURE PLAN FOR THE BIRCHWOOD
                 LANDFILL, FOR AN AMOUNT OF NINE MILLION, NINE
                 HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND, SEVENTY DOLLARS
                 ($9,925,070.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of an Agreement with the State of Tennessee, Division 
of
       Solid Waste Management, relative to the Closure/Post Closure Plan 

       for the Birchwood Landfill, for an amount of $9,925,070.00.
